Originally from Iowa City, IA, Lauren is currently a professional costume designer and ballet dancer in New York City. Recently, Lauren graduated with her MFA in Costume Design from NYU Tisch School of The Arts {under the guidance of Susan Hilferty, Constance 

Hoffman, & Campbell Baird} and has since been freelancing around the city in both dance & costume. A link to Lauren's costume portfolio can be found by continuing to scroll, below.

Before coming to NYC for graduate school, Lauren danced with Central Illinois Ballet, and Ballet Quad Cities for several seasons as well as teaching dance and pilates in the Iowa/Illinois area.

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Ballet Pedagogy, studying dance instruction and performance under Clara Cravey-Stanley, Ilya Kozadayev, Mary Margaret Holt, and others. During her time in Oklahoma, Lauren also received her pilates instruction certificate for standing and mat pilates through the PhysicalMind Institute.

Lauren views her work as that of a storyteller, channeling characters, music, & movement to present audiences with captivating stories, feelings, told through a variety of mediums.
